Twins Sera and Luke Raine have a well-kept secret—she heals with a touch of her hand, he sees the future. All their lives they’ve helped those in need on the sly. They’ve always thought of their abilities as being a gift.

Then Luke has a vision that Sera is killed. That gift they’ve always cherished begins to feel an awful lot like a curse. Because the thing about Luke’s ability? He’s always right. And he can’t do anything about it.

I've always been a sucker for brother/sister connections and Luke and Sera Raine have a very special one indeed.
Luke is a seer. He has visions, dreams and feelings for things to come and he's never been wrong. Ever.
His twin, Seraphina has the ability to heal people and can also give a silent push of persuasion when needed.
But when Luke has a horrific vision of Sera dying, he has to do what ever it takes to prevent it.
But something is coming. Something bigger then the both of them and when all manner of creatures that shouldn't exist, do exist, and become apart of the twins fate, a long ago prophecy will be revealed.
It is time for the all secrets to end.

Wow, what a story! I would have to say Intangible  is a very character driven book. Which I absolutely loved. I'm amazed how connected I felt towards every single one of these characters right from the start.
J. Meyers cunningly sets up the story so we are introduced to a number of characters through multiple point of views right from the first few chapters. I tend to get confused if I'm in to many heads at once, but it was the opposite for this book. I loved being able to sink into Luke and Sera's thoughts as well as the other characters to get a better feel for their intentions and what role they play in the story and the twins lives.
This was very smooth and very well done.
I didn't realize till after I read this book that J. Meyers wrote Intuition: a bonus short story to this book. I actually had that book sitting in my Kobo the whole time so I read it after this one. While you don't necessarily have to read the short story to understand this book, I was glad to have read it since it gave me a little more insight to the twins as well as added a fuller experience.

I don't think there was one character I didn't like. Luke and Sera were my favorite though. They have such a fun easy going friendship and sibling devotion that you can't help fall in love with. I could feel Luke's desperation for his sisters safety. They've always had each others back. The only ones who understand what the other is going through. So to lose her would be like losing himself.
Sera is such a sweet and kind soul. She has this over passionate need to use her gift and help anyone who's in pain. I love what a force she is in Luke's life as well as anyone she touches.
I also loved all the secondary characters. Fey, Jonas and Marc. Surprising I thought I'd end up hating Jonas, but it turns out that I'm more mad at Marc. You'll have to read the book to see why;)

The story line was pretty fascinating. We see most of the action near the end but the suspense and mystery is laced throughout the entire story which gives the reader just the right amount of anticipated edge. There is some romance in this book. Not a whole lot, but enough for me to want more with them and for them.

All in all, I really just loved this one. It has just about everything I look for in a great escape. Great writing, fascinating characters and a plot that had me glue to the pages. I may have seen these elements in other stories, but I love the spin J. Meyers took with this world. She made it feel refreshing and fun. I'm not sure if we're getting another book since it ended on a good note, but I would love to see where Meyers would take this next!

A great read!
Thanks to J. Meyers for giving us the opportunity  to read your incredible book!
