Touch (Denazen,#1),is action packed and exciting! I loved this book!! I have to give props to Liz Pelletier, for the gorgeous cover.
Blurb:
When a strange boy tumbles down a river embankment and lands at her feet, seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie Deznee Cross snatches the opportunity to piss off her father by bringing the mysterious hottie with ice blue eyes home.
Except there’s something off with Kale. He wears her shoes in the shower, is overly fascinated with things like DVDs and vases, and acts like she’ll turn to dust if he touches her. It’s not until Dez’s father shows up, wielding a gun and knowing more about Kale than he should, that Dez realizes there’s more to this boy—and her father’s “law firm”—than she realized.
Kale has been a prisoner of Denazen Corporation—an organization devoted to collecting “special” kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons—his entire life. And, oh yeah, his touch? It kills. The two team up with a group of rogue Sixes hellbent on taking down Denazen before they’re caught and her father discovers the biggest secret of all. A secret Dez has spent her life keeping safe.
A secret Kale will kill to protect.
My thoughts:
As I said before, I loved this book. Not only was there lots of action and excitement, but the plot was as thick as the woods. The characters were awesome! I can really get into a protagonist who is a smart-arse and pugnacious. A little rebel who will do anything to piss her father off and an adrenaline junky. Oh, and Kale! He escaped a caged-in life at the Denazen Corp. I adored his blatent curiosity and how naive he is. It was rather cute and I adored him.
The secondary characters were fantastic. Well played and relevent. I really liked the relationship between Dez and her cousin Brandt.
Some of my favorite quotes:
"My dad's a dick. Pissing him off is a hobby."
"And what's your gift, little cutie?" I gave him my most wicked smile. "Ass kicking. Want to see?" (Loved this part!)
OVERALL:
A very fun, exciting read with lots of snark and action. I definitely recommend this.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
