Ava Michaels used to think she was special. As a child, she fantasized about having magical powers . . . making things happen. But Ava grew up and eventually accepted the fact that her childish dreams were just that, and maybe a normal life wasn't so bad after all.Now a young college student, Ava meets Caleb Foster, a brilliant and mysterious man who’s supposed to help her pass Physics, but in reality has another mission in mind. What he shows Ava challenges her view of the world, shaking it to its very core.Because Caleb isn't quite what he seems. In fact, he's not entirely human, and he's not the only one.Together, the duo faces a threat from an ancient race bound to protect humans, but only after protecting their own secrets—secrets they fear Ava may expose. Fighting to survive, Ava soon learns she's not actually normal . . . she's not even just special. She's a little bit more.
My Thoughts:
At the start of the story we enter Ava's reoccurring nightmare. She's being chased my a man with one green eye and one blue and when he finally catches up to her, he strangles her to death before she wakes with a scream. But other then strange nightmares here and there, Ava Michaels is just your average girl. When she was little she believed that she could make things happen but now all grown up she's given up on such fantasies and goes to college at Allenmore and failing at physics. Totally normal.

In order to keep her scholarship she needs a passing grade in physics so her teacher hooks her up with a tutor.
Enter Caleb Foster. Caleb may seem like a geek, but he's not what he seems. Helping tutor Ava is just one step closer to helping him achieve his mission which is to get close enough to Ava and learn her secrets, that is if she's indeed hiding something.
Caleb is part of the First Race, an ancient people who live in the shadows and protects humanity and anything that could expose their world. Ava may seem like your average human, but she may be more and she's in danger.

I'm not sure if it was those brilliant eyes on the cover or the intriguing blurb that made me want to read this, but I'm so glad that I got the chance. I really ended up just loving this book!!
MORE is an absolutely fascinating story fit for fans who like enhanced supernatural abilities, extreme entertainment and characters your willing to follow right till the very end! And as an added bonus we also have no mean girls, no insta-love and no love triangles
This is just a pure rush of fun!

Wow! I just loved every single one of these characters!
Ava is such a sweetheart. Shy, kind and just a little unsure of herself. She second guesses a lot but I don't really blame her given the situation that she's been put under. She turns out to be a fierce and fearless character that I was really proud of.
I loved how Caleb was portrayed as your typical smart and sweet boy genies. No one would really suspect what he's truly capable of and I loved how much he wanted to protect Ava, even from his own people. These were just two amazing characters that you can't help be invested with the minute you meet them. I also loved the secondary characters as well. The good guys and the bad.

I love the way T.M Franklin writes! Although the beginning may be a bit slow moving for some, I didn't really mind it since it gave just the right amount of attention to get to know Ava and Caleb before the storm blows. When I look back at the whole story I'm actually glad Franklin choose to move the story this way. It made the ending and the characters growth that much more profound. Once we hit a certain point and Ava and Caleb are on the run, it's pretty much a spiral of fast paced action and exhilarating excitement. That was my favorite part. Being on the run, discovering the myth and the history of the First Race, The Guardians, Protectors and the Council. I loved learning about the powers and seeing it first hand and I also loved the training and wished I got to see just a little bit more. This was very plot driven stuff my friends. It consumed me so much that before I knew it the story was already over and I was craving more.
Surprising enough the only thing really lacking was the romance. There was little to none and the sap in me would have complained had I noticed. See, Caleb and Ava have one of those rare connections that is focused on friendship and a kindred bond. There is obvious attraction sure, but the story line is so busy and steadfast that it's hard to introduce at any given point. I'm actually really glad for it since there was no real room for a strong dose of romance. I rather liked this beautiful gradual pull making it even more irresistible and inevitable.

I'm really not sure what else to say besides I loved it! I has such a great time with this book I can't even express how much fun I had with Ava and Caleb and all the twist and turns I never saw coming. The concept may not be anything new, but it still felt fresh and alive through Franklin imagination. She definitely  has a new fan and while I'm not sure if there is going to be a sequel to this book, I'd be the first one to pick it up if there ever was.

An amazing read!

    1. Thanks Rach!:) The romance was subtle. It's there but it's not what the focus is about, which I found refreshing. I think you'd like this one hun:)
