Welcome to this month’s edition of WinterHaven SnowPeak where we offer a recap of our events, a little sneak peak of what’s to come, and what we’re most excited about.

July was a great month for us. We had lots of fun reviews, giveaways and events that we were thrilled to participate in, and August is shaping up to be even better. We would like to take a minute to wish our fans Happy Movie Release Day for those who are anticipating a couple of movie adaptations that are coming out this month. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan, will be in theaters on Aug 7th (US/Canada) and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, will hit theaters on Aug 21st.(US/Canada). We can't wait to watch these on the big screen. Exciting stuff!!

Also, this month WinterHaven Books will be be celebrating Aussie books with August Aussie month. We will be featuring book reviews and some awesome giveaways by amazing Aussie authors. So stay tuned.

May was an exciting month for us.  We had lots of fun reviews and giveaways and June is looking to be even better!  June marks our one year anniversary with Arlene and Tina and I can't tell you how awesome it has been blogging with these two.  Amber and I were beyond excited when they first joined our bloggy family and this past year has been amazing!  So Cheers!  
This month I will also be attending ALA for the first time and I am already bouncing!  I will do a recap in July for all our lovely readers.

Welcome to this month’s edition of WinterHaven SnowPeak where we offer a recap of our events, a little sneak peak of what’s to come, and what we’re most excited about.

April was a great month fill with tons of reviews, giveaways and author events. I have to say as far as author events go, I was lucky enough to meet two of my favorite contemporary authors, which were Colleen Hoover and Sarah Dessen. We have some signed book giveaways from these wonderful writers along with a ton of other giveaways. So be sure to go HERE to see all the great books up for grabs!

So now, let me share with you what we have scheduled for May 2013!!

First off, this month marks Mother's Day for all you wonderful moms in the United States. This year it falls on Sunday, May 12, so Happy Mother's Day! If you need any gift ideas... I say a few good books could put a smile on anyone's face, right? I might be biased, but that's my suggestion. =}

Welcome to this month’s edition of WinterHaven SnowPeak where we offer a recap of our events, a little sneak peak of what’s to come, and what we’re most excited about.

First off for those of you that celebrated Easter yesterday, we hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends. Personally, I'm looking at a basket filled with chocolate goodies and jellybeans, so I am one happy snowflake! 

Now don't forget... Today happens to be April Fools!!! At least for us here in the States, it's the day you don't want to fall victim to a prank or joke. Much to my chagrin, I've pulled some pretty good ones, and I know what goes around comes around, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled and my senses on high alert! ;)

Well another month has quickly come and gone! March was filled with some fun blog hop giveaways and exciting blog tours! I'd have to say the most exciting event we had last month (well really just yesterday), was having Tabitha Suzuma author of Forbidden visit our site. We can't believe how quickly the year is flying by! February was a ton of fun and we'd like to thank everyone that joined us for our WinterHaven Cupid Cloud Hop. We had a great time sharing Sweetheart Reviews, as well as Book Boyfriend and Sweetheart Couple Spotlights. Our Authors Love Fest was an absolute blast, and we'd like to thank all of the authors that joined us for that fun post.

Last month, we announced our new blog Waves of Fiction that features our adult contemporary, romance, urban fantasy and paranormal reviews. It’s been an exciting month, and the blog has grown so quickly! So thank you to our 18 and over crowd who visited us at our Summer beach house. We will be hosting a follower appreciation giveaway soon, so if you’re 18 and over and enjoy the genres listed above be sure to visit our beachside address to join the fun. You can find us HERE.

Welcome to our second edition of WinterHaven SnowPeak where we give you a little sneak peak of what’s to come this month, what we’re most excited about, and some music to keep you busy throughout the month.

What's coming this month?!?  

Well we have two events that have us bouncing in our seats, and we can't wait to share them with you!
