A Little-Known Fact: Winter is not an Emotion or an Element; she is a Season.
There is a design for every single thing. There is a being for Light, Song, Wind, Grass, Life, and Death. Winter, Spring, Fall. The Elements and the Seasons.

I can’t weep. I can’t fear. I’ve grown talented at pretending.

Elizabeth Caldwell doesn’t feel emotions . . . she sees them. Longing, Shame, and Courage materialize around her classmates. Fury and Resentment appear in her dysfunctional home. They’ve all given up on Elizabeth because she doesn’t succumb to their touch. All, that is, save one—Fear. He’s intrigued by her, as desperate to understand the accident that changed Elizabeth’s life as she is herself.

Elizabeth and Fear both sense that the key to her past is hidden in the dream paintings she hides in the family barn. But a shadowy menace has begun to stalk her, and try as she might, Elizabeth can barely avoid the brutality of her life long enough to uncover the truth about herself. When it matters most, will she be able to rely on Fear to save her?

  1. To the question of "which Emotion, Element or Other do you think would find itself summoned to you most often?" I would have to say the emotion of tears, in that when I cry I get what I want from my husband. I am just being honest. ;)

  2. Looking at the ones listed on the tour stops, I'd have to go with rain, just because of any element, I would be water. I've always loved water (whether it be swimming in a pool or the ocean) and I'm one of those weird people who love rainy days--they energize me :)

  3. The element of water. I'm not that into astrology but my zodiac is a water sign so I guess that's it for me. :D

  5. I think it would have to be fire! Because fire is kinda crazy and can be angry at times!
